There are excellent and varied transport links including water taxis, ferries, buses and trains. Take a short ferry ride across the estuary to St Mawes and discover the delights of the Roseland Peninsula, or a cruise to the Helford River and Frenchmans Creek, hire a boat and explore the Carrick Roads (the many creeks and inlets of the River Fal) and visit Smugglers Cottage for a Cornish Cream Tea and learn of its rich and varied history.
